Sheila Brand Educational Trust Bursary 2023
The Sheila Brand Educational Trust is inviting applications for its bursary programme for the 2023 academic year. The bursary is open to undergraduate South African students across all fields of study.
Current bursary holders do not need to complete a new application form for the next academic year — they only need to submit the required affidavit.
The closing date for applications is 30 September 2022 at 16:00. No late applications will be considered.
Eligible Universities
The bursary will be awarded for studies at the following universities:
- Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)
- University of the Western Cape (UWC)
- Stellenbosch University (SU)
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be studying or intending to study towards an undergraduate qualification
- Must be studying or accepted at CPUT, UWC, or Stellenbosch University
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must have a strong academic record
- Must have achievements in leadership, sport, culture, or community service
- Must not be receiving another bursary (unless approved by the Trust)
